Emma Watson’s Short Do

Harry Potter star, Emma Watson revealed her newest look. The dramatically shorter cut looks great on her. It’s sort of Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby. Here’s what she had to say about it,

“Dear all. Cut my hair off a few days ago… Feels incredible. I love it. I’ve wanted to do this for years and years; it’s the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like. Big love from Emma x”

I can only imagine how liberating it really does feel, but I won’t be cutting off my long locks any time soon. Don’t think I’d pull it off as well as Emma. What do you guys think of her new look?

Ann Taylor Over-Photoshops Model

The women’s clothing line Ann Taylor has been in hot water these past couple of days. Everyone is speaking about their negative portrayal of women on their website. In the past they’ve been called out for photo shopping models, and even so they thought they could still pull a fast one on us. On their website you can see normal pictures of the models. Yet once you click on it to get a close look, the model’s waist smooths out dramatically.

As if the model wasn’t skinny enough already. Who is Ann Taylor trying to sell to? Maybe they should take a note from Marc Jacobs and stores like Saks who are embracing women’s figures.

These photos are so breathtaking. Jennifer Aniston channels Barbara Striesand for Harpers Bazaar’s upcoming September issue. The photos are iconic from “Funny Girl’ and “What’s up, Doc?”  She tells the mag,

“People laugh at me. Sometimes I know why, and sometimes I don’t,… But I can pretty much find humor in anything. That is a necessary part of life. I don’t want to say laughter is healing, because it sounds corny, but it’s a release.”

Soon after the release of these photos, Barbara Striesand had only good things to say:

“I was very flattered that Jennifer Aniston chose to interpret my style with the photos in Harper’s Bazaar. She’s a delightful person, and I think she did a wonderful job. If only she had a bump on her nose.”
